Dutch women who maintained a relationship with German soldiers or collaborators were captured by Dutch civilians and abused. Their hair would be cut off and the Dutch civilians would paint their heads. This is a photo of a woman that was captured.

Nederlandse vrouwen die een relatie hadden met Duitse soldaten of met collaborateurs werden met de bevrijding door de Nederlandse burgers opgepakt en mishandeld. Velen werden kaalgeknipt en overgoten met verf of teer. Dit is een foto van een kaalgeknipte vrouw, ook wel bekend als een ''moffenmeid'' of ''moffenhoer''.
