Odilo Globocnik was the NSDAP Gauleiter of Vienna from 1938, where he was responsible for measures against Jews. From 1939, he became the SS-und Polizeiführer of Lublin. From there he became the head of the Aktion Reinhard, a nazi operation to murder Jews in the concentration camps Treblinka, Belzec and Sobibor. On the 31st of May 1945, he committed suicide by cyanide.

Odilo Globocnik was vanaf 1938 NSDAP-gauleiter van Wenen, waar hij verantwoordelijk was voor maatregelen tegen Joden. Vanaf 1939 werd hij SS- en Polizeiführer van Lublin. Van daaruit werd hij leider van Aktion Reinhard, een nazioperatie om Joden te vermoorden in de concentratiekampen Treblinka, Belzec en Sobibor. Op 31 mei 1945 pleegde hij zelfmoord met behulp van cyanide.
