German leaflet for the people of France. The Phoney (Phony) War was a psychological propaganda war between France, England, and Germany. This started on the 3rd of September 1939 as a result of the Blitzkrieg on Poland by Germany. The French soldiers were mobilised on the Marginotline. No fighting was done during this period. The Phony War ended with the German invasion of France on the 10th of May 1940.

Duits pamflet voor het Franse volk. De Schijnoorlog was een psychologische propagandaoorlog tussen Frankrijk, Engeland en Duitsland. Deze begon op 3 september 1939 als gevolg van de Blitzkrieg van Duitsland op Polen. De Franse soldaten werden gemobiliseerd aan de Marginotlinie. In deze periode werd er niet gevochten. De Schijnoorlog eindigde met de Duitse inval in Frankrijk op 10 mei 1940.
