In 1944, the popular Dutch NSB magazine Fotonieuws was renamed to Echo. This is the 7th edition of this magazine. Possibly the most desired edition of this newspaper because of the cover, which shows the 12th SS Hitler-Jugend division in Rots, Normandy in front of the ''famous'' wall. This picture was made after the tough battle with Canadian troops in this area in June 1944 during D-Day (Operation Overlord).

Mogelijk de meest gezochte editie van dit tijdschriftvanwege de cover, waarop de 12e SS Hitler-Jugend-divisie in Rots, Normandië, voor de "beroemde" muur staat afgebeeld. Deze foto werd gemaakt na de zware strijd met Canadese troepen in dit gebied in juni 1944 tijdens D-Day (Operatie Overlord).
