Anti-American imperialist poster made by the Norwegian cartoonist Harald Damsleth, who drew for Walt Disney in the 1930's before moving back to Norway. In Norway, he joined the Nasjonal Samling (Norwegian Nazi party).
The poster depicts America as a monster filled with racist anti-American stereotypes like the Ku Klux Klan, Jewish bankers, Indians, black people swing dancing (Jitterbug), and more. During this part, ''America'' is destroying European cultural buildings with bombs, resembling a B-17 bomber airplane.
On the bottom, there is an elephant man with a sign saying ''The USA will save the European Culture from its downfall.''

The poster has a few acid-free tape repairs; on the top side, two small pieces of the poster are gone. But neither of these two are on the cartoon.

Anti-Amerikaanse imperialistische poster gemaakt door de Noorse cartoonist Harald Damsleth, die in de jaren 30 voor Walt Disney tekende voordat hij terugkeerde naar Noorwegen. Daar sloot hij zich aan bij de Nasjonal Samling (de Noorse nazipartij).
De poster beeldt Amerika af als een Europa-vernietigend monster vol anti-Amerikaanse racistische stereotypen zoals de Ku Klux Klan, Joodse bankiers, indianen, zwarte mensen die swingdansen (Jitterbug) en meer. Het monster ''Amerika'' vernietigt Europese culturele gebouwen met bommen, dit moet een B-17 boimmenwerper voorstellen.
Onderaan staat een olifantenman met een bordje waarop staat: "De USA zullen de Europese Kultuur redden van den ondergang."
De poster is op een paar plekken gerepareerd met zuurvrije tape; aan de bovenkant ontbreken twee kleine stukjes van de poster. Deze stukken beschadigen de cartoon zelf echter niet.
