Interesting picture of Hans Albert von Lettow-Vorbeck, Staf de Clercq, and Richard Jungclaus together. This picture was made in 1942; the exact date is unknown. Hans-Albert von Lettow-Vorbeck became the Flemish SS legion commander and went to Graz to train the recruits. In June 1942, he was called back, became the Freikorps Danmark commander until he was killed in combat a few days later on the 11th of June 1942.

Staf Declercq was the leader of the Flemish nazi party VNV. He died in 1942 due to a heart attack.

From 1942, Richard Jungclaus became the SS police leader of occupied Belgium. He stayed in Belgium until the liberation. In the ending days of occupied Belgium, he deported 5000 political prisoners to Germany. He was killed in combat in Yugoslavia, fighting with the 7th SS Gebirgs Division Prinz Eugen.
