Deze historische studie behandelt architectuur en bouwbeleid in Beieren tijdens de nationaalsocialistische periode (1933–1945). Het boek analyseert hoe bouwprojecten, stedenbouw en monumentale architectuur werden ingezet als instrumenten van politieke ideologie en representatie.

Met de nadruk op Beieren worden openbare gebouwen, partijarchitectuur, infrastructuurprojecten en de administratieve structuren erachter onderzocht. De architectonische ontwikkelingen worden geplaatst binnen de bredere politieke, sociale en economische context van het Derde Rijk.

Op basis van archiefonderzoek, foto’s en projectdocumentatie biedt het werk inzicht in de rol van architectuur als middel van macht, propaganda en staatsorganisatie in deze periode.
